As the system owner for Electric & Hybrid Propulsion, you will be responsible for the system throughout all its life cycles.
The System Owner envisions and implements a platform that aligns with the ship’s goals, and makes sure of the availability of the right systems. It’s their responsibility to ensure an efficient supply chain, asset management, and customer support readiness.
Your tasks are
- To manage the development of system families;
- To drive the development of sub-systems and monitoring systems;
- To manage system configuration;
- To monitor the Freeze and Release agenda;
- To be the point of contact throughout the organization;
- To set priorities in the system platform;
- To approve the selection of suppliers;
- To implement the multi-disciplinary system platform team;
- To initiate the collaboration with suppliers;
You have
- Completed an academic education;
- A background in Electrical-, Marine-, or Mechanical Engineering or in Naval Architecture or another similar study;
- 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in which you gained experience with developing and integrating propulsion systems and the application of System Engineering Principles
- The knowledge to translate business and high-level market requirements into system development and technology needs;
- Excellent communication skills in the English language;
- The willingness to travel.
