Naval Architect Superyachts

Be the technical backbone of the design process from concept to completion.

As the Naval Architect, you will work in modern dock halls and well-equipped workshops. You easily translate creative ideas into technically feasible solutions. Together with colleagues, you ensure the high-quality, timely delivery of final designs.

Your responsibilities

• Monitoring weight control processes;
• Collecting inputs and checking them against budgets;
• Supporting dock plans, launchings, and transportation activities;
• Monitoring feasibility and quality in ship designs;
• Ensuring all designs comply with international regulations and standards;
• Providing input on solving technical challenges and ensuring uniform design standards;

The requirements

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Maritime Engineering, Shipbuilding, or something similar;
• You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the yacht or shipbuilding industry;
• You have knowledge of the construction process of seagoing superyachts;
• You have excellent communication skills in the English language;
• You are pro-active and solution-oriented;
• You have the skill to manage and inform team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner;
• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
