In this role, you contribute to the successful delivery of complex yacht-building projects by ensuring high engineering quality, seamless interdisciplinary integration, and effective collaboration throughout the entire build process.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"897\">The client is a world-leading builder of custom luxury yachts, combining advanced engineering, craftsmanship, and innovative design. Working closely with renowned partners, they deliver highly complex, bespoke projects with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and technical excellence.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The responsibilities of the Lead Engineer Piping<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing and discussing the project development information and work demarcation during the pre-building process;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and safeguarding the quality of the engineering work;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring correct interfacing and integration of piping data with other engineering disciplines;<\/li>\n<li>Delivering accurate plan drawings and technical specifications in compliance with building specifications, applicable standards, regulations, and design codes;<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing, approving, and ensuring completeness of the engineering documentations;<\/li>\n<li>Identifying upcoming or complex technical challenges and initiating appropriate solutions;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring follow-up actions to ensure required engineering output and project progress;<\/li>\n<li>Leading, coaching, developing, and motivating your assigned team;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing work efficiently and achieving project goals within agreed planning and deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with partners and suppliers, fostering strong collaborations based on expertise, trust, and mutual respect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Lead Engineer Piping brings,<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A relevant technical bachelor&#8217;s degree in piping;<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years experience within the maritime industry and\/or in the ship- or yacht building industry;<\/li>\n<li>In-depth experience in piping;<\/li>\n<li>A proactive and problem-solving approach;<\/li>\n<li>Analytical, persuasive, result-oriented, and passionate work approach;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and\/or Rhinoceros;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken;<\/li>\n<li>The eligibility to work in The Netherlands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Our offer<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A gross salary of \u20ac 4750 up to \u20ac 5500 per month;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent secondary working conditions;<\/li>\n<li>Challenging projects within ship and yacht building and offshore;<\/li>\n<li>Development is important in our business, which is why we support and encourage you in your personal development;<\/li>\n<li>Personal contact and clear communication;<\/li>\n<li>Relocation support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With over 15 years of experience, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobeco.nl\/nl\/mobeco\/\">Mobeco<\/a> has established itself as a trusted name in the world of maritime secondment.
