The construction engineer sees his own designs turn into something tangible after creating detailed construction drawings. In this role, you work per divided section of the yacht, to ensure the outcome is perfect and per the wishes to the client.
The responsibilities of the construction engineer include,
- Dividing a yacht into several sections;
- Making detailed construction drawings per section;
- Working closely with other colleagues within the same discipline or colleagues who on the same project.
The construction engineer brings
- Bachelor or Master degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
- Knowledge of software like Cadmatic, Catia, and AutoCAD;
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar position within the ship- and of yacht building;
- Experience in Hull engineering is required;
- Good command of the English language;
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands;
