You make sure the concept is translated correctly.
The Outfitting Engineer, you’re assigned one project at a time, to which you always report to the lead engineer. You have expertise in outfitting, and with your quality-oriented approach, your projects are done according to all set standards and planning.
Your tasks are
- To translate the concept into production information;
- To work on all necessary information for the yacht’s specifications, norms, standards, laws, and regulations;
- To study and interpret naval design packages
- To precondition and prepare the basic and multidisciplinary drawings and the technical specifications for purchasing & subcontracting;
- To plan and organize the work to achieve set goals in a timely matter.
You
- Have a bachelor’s degree or a Secondary Vocational Education with relevant working experience;
- Have at least 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably within the maritime industry and/or yacht building;
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD/Rhinoceros;
- Are pro-active, problem-solving, quality-focused, and organized;
- Are a good team player;
- Are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
