As Hardware Engineer for Lighting and Safety, you are responsible for the entire design of luxurious lighting and safety systems on yachts. You’ll do this work based on customer specifications and class requirements.
The responsibilities of the Hardware Engineer Lighting and Safety,
- Taking the lead in making designs, these include necessary calculations and are based on the client’s requirements and regulations;
- Coordinating the functionality and locations of all lightning systems with the customer and interior supplier;
- Coordinating the functionality and locations of all safety systems with the customer and interior supplier;
- Incorporating both systems into the electrical drawing package.
The Hardware Engineer Lighting and Safety brings,
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Several years of experience as a Hardware Engineer;
- An eye for detail but also see the bigger picture;
- Joy in working as part of a project team in your own area of expertise;
- A proactive work approach.
