The Engineer Electrical Power Systems designs and develops advanced power distribution systems for the maritime industry!
As the Engineer Electrical Power Systems, you’ll design and specify complex power distribution systems and ensure compliance with all standards and regulations. Work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
The responsibilities of the Engineer Electrical Power Systems:
- Designing LV power distributors, emergency switchboards, and lighting distributions based on specifications;
- Developing the basic design and functional specifications for power plants;
- Incorporating synchronizing devices, load-sharing devices, protection devices, transformers, UPS systems, and various regulators into designs;
- Performing various electrical calculations;
- Ensuring designs comply with the standards, the classifications societies, and other relevant regulations;
- Submitting designs for review by inspection;
The Engineer Electrical Power Systems brings:
- You have a degree in electrical engineering;
- You have experience as an electrical engineer;
- You have a strong affinity with the maritime industry;
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language;
- You are able to work independently and collaboratively;
- You are allowed to work in the Netherlands, either due to EU-citizenship or an already valid work-visa;
