The Project Engineer Mechanical is part of the team that develops the piping systems for yachts. Together with other engineers, you work closely together, and you’ll see the project you’re working on being built until the finishing touches.
Your work includes
- Discugging technical matters, project information, and planning issues;
- Coordinating and monitoring the team’s tasks;
- Reporting progress to the Project Manager;
- Contributing as an operational engineer;
- Designing piping systems;
- Identifying technical bottlenecks and proposing potential solutions;
- Defining informational problems and transforming them into an efficient and effective strategy to reach reliable information flow;
- Ensuring, together with the team, all engineering aligns seamlessly;
You
- Have a Secondary Vocational Education diploma with relevant experience in mechanical engineering, or you have a bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering;
- Have at least three years of working experience in the ship- and/or yacht-building industry.
- Have knowledge of (on board) piping systems, of products and materials, and of guidelines and procedures;
- Are familiar with 2D and 3D applications;
- Are analytical, a good team player, and process-oriented;
- Are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken;
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands;
