The Engineering Coordinator Systems ensures the realization of engineering output for the technical discipline systems.
The engineering coordinator systems is an important member of the yacht-realizing project teams. Having a leading role over subordinate in-house professionals, they report to the project manager engineering, and work in aligned co-makership with involved partners. Â

The responsibilities of the engineering coordinator systems,
- Supervising and realizing the availability of all engineering documents;
- Developing a detailed planning and delivery schedule for engineering documentation in cooperation with the manager and third parties;
- Acting as the first point of contact for regulatory authorities, owner’s representative, designers, and subcontractors to monitor day-to-day progress and alignment of the engineering work;
- Solving upcoming planning- and progress problems;
- Adjusting and aligning all involved parties and instructing them about standards and working methods;
- Ensuring a timely and accurate information flow for internal and external parties;
- Planning and organizing the work in such a way goals are achieved within the set deadline;
- Working closely together with partners, seeing and realizing possible synergies together;
- Leading, developing, and motivating members of an assigned project team.
The engineering coordinator systems brings,
- A bachelor’s degree related to Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Systems engineering, or another technological field related to systems;
- At least 5 years of experience in the ship- or yacht building industry;
- Knowledge and experience related to the systems-discipline;
- Experience in and with leading and developing (project)teams;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and AutoCAD and/or Rhinoceros;
- The competences: customer orientated, decisive, persuasive, helicopter view;
- Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken;
- The eligibility to work in The Netherlands.
