The responsibilities of the project planner shipbuilding
- Establishing baseline planning based on master schedules and hour budgets;
- Developing integrated project and logistics plans using structured work breakdowns;
- Maintaining, updating, and analysing operational schedules;
- Identifying planning bottlenecks and proposing improvement measures;
- Providing progress overviews and preparing hour forecast reports;
- Preparing project data for multi-project/portfolio planning;
- Analyzing and planning workforce capacity, workflow, factory layout and efficiency use of workspace/equipment;
- Delivering timely, accurate planning updates to internal stakeholders;
- Supporting with data management, documentation, and project administration.
The project planner brings,
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and industrial execution processes;
- A solid understanding of project management phases and methods;
- Experience with ERP systems and planning tools ;
- Affinity with maritime or shipbuilding projects;
- Structured working style, organizational strength, and a hands-on, results-oriented mindset;
- Proactive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to develop further;
- The eligibility to work in The Netherlands.
