The responsibilities of the senior engineer construction,
- Working closely with fellow engineers and the Lead Engineer Construction, to whom you report.
- Being responsible for detail engineering, 3D models, and various project-related data sheets.
- Focusing on the realisation of engineering for the airframe and related components.
- Collaborating frequently with engineers from other disciplines, such as Mechanical Engineering, Interior, Exterior, and Special Engineering.
- Applying and safeguarding the company standards and quality requirements throughout the engineering process.
- Jointly monitoring and managing the flow of information to and from production.
- Supporting a smooth engineering and production process to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
The senior engineer construction brings,
- A secondary vocational education (MBO) or higher vocational education (HBO) thinking- and working level;
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience as a (senior) construction engineer or a similar role, preferably in the ship- and yacht-building industry;
- Knowledge of the construction process of (super)yachts;
- An excellent command the English language, both written and spoken;
- Experience with different CAD-programs, NS, Team Centre, and others;
- Communicative and coaching skills;
- The drive to motivate and inform your team and keep them up to date;
- The eligibility to work in the Netherlands, either as an EU citizen or with a valid work permit.
