The responsibilities of the structural engineer,
- Working on highly complex structural engineering projects
- Translating customer requirements into specifications and budgets
- Designing hull structures at concept and basic design levels
- Creating construction, integration, modification, and demolition drawings
- Coordinating technical content across disciplines
- Acting as central liaison with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensuring high-quality and feasible designs
- Collaborating closely with customers
- Contributing to company growth and project selection
- Supporting projects from feasibility through design and site supervision
The structural engineer brings,
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in maritime engineering or structural engineering;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience and specialist knowledge of concept and basic design;
- Joy in working on a variety of projects;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to engage and motivate others naturally;
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in your field;
- The eligibility to work in the Netherlands.
