As the engineer construction you’re part of the team building world-class superyachts and carry out the responsibility of ensuring the highest standards in design, 3D modeling, and engineering documentation.Â
This client operates at the top end of the luxury yacht market, specialising in fully bespoke projects. With a strong engineering focus, the organisation delivers technically complex vessels through close collaboration between design, engineering, and production.
The responsibilities of the engineer construction,
- Developing and refining 3D models, detailed engineering designs, and technical drawings;
- Ensuring compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications;
- Conducting technical assessments to guarantee feasibility and manufacturability;
- Identifying and solving technical bottlenecks, providing solutions and recommendations;
- Collaborating with senior engineers, production teams, and project leads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
The engineer construction brings,
- A bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, naval engineering, maritime technology, or another related study;
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in engineering within the ship- or yachtbuilding industry;
- Relevant knowledge of, or experience with 3D AutoCAD, and preferably also Siemens NX, Teamcentre, Cadmatic;
- A good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of the shipbuilding production and construction processes;
- Accurate and high-standard work ethics, with an eye for detail;
- The eligibility to work in the Netherlands;
