The responsibilities of the production support engineer mechanical,
- Developing and refining detailed engineering designs, technical drawings, and 3D models;
- Ensuring compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications;
- Conducting technical assessments to guarantee feasibility and manufacturability;
- Identifying and solving technical bottlenecks, providing solutions as well as recommendations to prevent them in the future;
- Collaborating with (senior) engineers, project leads, and production teams to ensure a timely delivery of high-quality work.
The production support engineer mechanical brings,
- A Bachelor education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Maritime Technology or related study.
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering work experience within shipbuilding or yacht building.
- Relevant software knowledge 3D AutoCad and preferably Siemens NX, Teamcentre and Cadmatic.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of shipbuilding production and the construction process;
- The ability to be the linking pin between production and drawings;
- Accuracy by nature and a high standard for delivering quality and results.
