The Project Manager Ships knows how to coordinate the project from start to finish.
As a Project Manager Ships, you are responsible for executing projects, including progress and financial results. Among other things, you coordinate and monitor engineering and production activities and plan deliveries and production, all with the customer’s benefit in mind.
Your tasks are
- To coordinate, guide, direct, supervise, and monitor projects from start to finish;
- To coordinate the progress of all the engineering activities;
- To check the availability of technical drawings and to revise if needed;
- To be responsible for submitting the correct drawings timely for classification;
- To control the progress of the production and the warehouse;
- To monitor additional work and to be responsible for pre- and post-calculations;
- To ensure correct and regular coordination of the delivery agreements
You have
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and additionally, you’ve had training courses in purchasing, work preparation, project- or supply chain management, or anything similar;
- 1-3 years of work experience as a project manager, preferably with a technical background in the maritime sector;
- Experience with English contracts (pré);
- Knowledge of electrical & electronic installations, and hydraulic;
- Good social and communicative skills and a good commercial attitude;
- A good command of the English language;
