The Project Manager Ships knows how to coordinate the project from start to finish.
As a Project Manager Ships, you are responsible for executing projects, including progress and financial results. Among other things, you coordinate and monitor engineering and production activities and plan deliveries and production, all with the customer’s benefit in mind.
The responsibilities of the Project Manager Ships
- Coordinating, guiding, directing, supervising, and monitoring projects from start to finish;
- Coordinating the progress of all the engineering activities;
- Checking the availability of technical drawings and revising if needed;
- Being responsible for submitting the correct drawings timely for classification;
- Checking and coordinating the progress of the production and the warehouse;
- Monitoring additional work and being responsible for pre- and post-calculations;
- Ensuring correct and regular coordination of the delivery agreements.
The Project Manager Ships brings,
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and additionally, you’ve had training courses in purchasing, work preparation, project- or supply chain management, or anything similar;
- 1-3 years of work experience as a project manager, preferably with a technical background in the maritime sector;
- Experience with English contracts (pré);
- Knowledge of electrical & electronic installations, and hydraulic;
- Good social and communicative skills and a good commercial attitude;
- A good command of the English language;
