When designing solutions for the exterior, a lot comes to mind. Are you the new Special Engineer Exterior who’s open for the new challenge?
You will work on the special engineering of the exterior of superyachts with your engineering colleagues and the senior engineer to whom you report. You are in close contact with the work preparation and the production departments.
The responsibilities of the Engineer Special Engineering Exterior
- Being responsible for detail engineering, 3D models, and various data sheets;
- Working efficiently on the Exterior of superyachts;
- Devising and designing solutions for doors, shutters, railing work, and awnings;
- Thinking about the use of materials, production techniques, assembly, and costs of the solutions;
- Being jointly responsible for coordinated, high-quality, and timely development of the final design.
The Engineer Special Engineering Exterior brings,
- A bachelor’s work- and thinking level;
- Relevant working experience in a similar position within yacht building or interior building.
- Knowledge of production techniques and experience with manufacturability of parts;
- Computer literate and the knowledge of how to use CAD-drawing programs, NX, and other basic routines;
- A team player mindset;
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, such as Lloyd’s, Solas, and the Large Yacht Code is a plus;
- A good command of the English and Dutch languages.
