In the role of a structural engineer, you work on technically complex projects. In collaboration with the customer, you convert requirements into specifications and, in the end, ensure high-quality and feasible designs.

Active across submarines, naval vessels, offshore energy, and special-purpose ships, it provides engineering expertise from feasibility to full design, known for turning challenging requirements into reliable, future-ready solutions.
The responsibilities of the structural engineer,
- Translating customer requirements into specifications and corresponding;
- Working on hull structure concept and basic design;
- Producing various technical drawings;
- Coordinating the technical content of projects across all disciplines;
- Maintaining contact with external stakeholders and suppliers;
- Serving as the coordinator between engineering disciplines;
- Ensuring high-quality, feasible designs for highly complex projects;
- Contributing to the company’s growth by taking initiative in selecting, shaping, or coordinating upcoming and current projects.
The structural engineer brings,
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in structural engineering or in maritime engineering;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
- Knowledge of concept and basic design;
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and motivate others;
- Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken;
- The willingness to keep learning, staying up-to-date with the latest developments, and the willingness to actively contribute to new innovations;
- The eligibility to work in the Netherlands.
