The responsibilities of the senior mechanical engineer,
- Designing and developing various mechanical systems;
- Designing special components;
- Setting-up equipment and piping;
- Supervising junior engineers and collaborating with the lead engineer;
- Contributing your ideas and views about growth and development.
The senior mechanical engineer brings,
- A bachelor’s degree in naval architecture, maritime engineering, or mechanical engineering;
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience;
- Specialized knowledge of concept and basic design;
- Technical expertise within the mechanical discipline;
- Understanding of project context;
- A strong drive to keep improving and innovating, to explore the technical limits, and to take on any challenge;
- The ability to maintain oversight, to carry responsibility, and to bring innovations on board;
- A perfect command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- The eligibility to work in The Netherlands.
