In the role of project leader shipbuilding engineering, you will be working on the development of highly exclusive yachts. You will be responsible for managing complex engineering projects from the initial design phase through to completion, working closely with production and engineering teams.
What will you do as a Project Leader Shipbuilding Engineering?
Your responsibilities
- Working on multiple shipbuilding engineering projects in different stages;
- Being responsible for the complete structural construction of the yacht;
- Being involved in the development phase of yacht-building projects;
- Working on the complete technical design of the yacht;
- Being involved throughout the entire process from the drawing phase to delivery to the crew;
- Working closely with Production on an ongoing basis;
- Working with engineering outputs such as drawings, project orders, and purchase orders;
Working within the ship- and yachtbuilding sector
You will join an international engineering environment where technology, innovation, and craftsmanship come together. Within Shipbuilding Engineering, you will work on the complete technical development of high-end yacht projects rather than focusing on a single part of the vessel. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and remain involved throughout the entire construction process, from initial design and engineering to realization and final delivery.
What do you bring?
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree level in Naval Architecture or Shipbuilding engineering;
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience within shipbuilding engineering;
- Experience with leading engineering teams;
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino;
- Experience with budget monitoring and project coordination;
- An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Strong analytical skills and technical insights.
